Core mission
The Institut Laue-Langevin (ILL), situated in Grenoble, France, is Europe's leading research facility for scientific research using neutrons. Every year, we host over 2000 visits by scientists, who come to the Institute to carry out world-class research.
As a member of the ILL’s Purchasing Service, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of goods, from receipt and storage to distribution, working closely with in-house teams and external partners, whilst ensuring compliance with procedures and safety standards.

Your tasks
• Receive, inspect and deliver incoming goods
• Prepare, pack and dispatch orders
• Manage returns, damage or discrepancies, and disputes
• Monitor stock levels and carry out regular inventories
• Ensure that the stores are well organised, clean and safe
• Participate in the continuous improvement and optimisation of logistics processes.

Your profile
• You have a Level 3 (NVQ or equivalent) qualification in logistics and warehousing / stock management (or equivalent). Additional training in material handling or logistics would be a plus.
• You have at least three years’ experience in a similar post or experience in the field of logistics.
• You are proficient in stock management and inventory control.
• You have a good command of warehouse management software applications (ERP, Word, Excel…).
• You have a good basic knowledge of material handling techniques and the use of lifting equipment.
• You are well organised, have a meticulous approach to your work and are committed to complying with safety regulations.
• You are a responsive self starter and an excellent team player.
• You have good communication skills.
• Fluency in French is essential; fluency in English would be appreciated.
